UC Berkeley Vs Dartmouth Vs. Washington U. Vs. JHU Vs Northwestern Vs. LAC

Dartmouth Vs UC Berkeley Vs Washington U. in St. Louis Vs. Johns Hopkins Vs Northwestern Vs. U. Penn Vs. Brown Vs. Liberal Art Colleges (Amherst, Swarthmore, Carleton, etc.) where is best place for going to harvard Medical School?

lol @

"where is best place for going to harvard Medical School? "

very ambitious :)

You should go to a school that meets those basic criterias.

 • School that gives you GOOD education
 • School that doesn’t kill your GPA.

I say JHU for pre-med.
Although it tends to lower ppl’s gpa, JHU pre-med is worth it, I think.

Also, JHU med school (which is on par with Harvards fyi) tends to favor ppl from JHU from what I heard.

Go to an LAC

Amherst sends 1 to 2 people to HMS in a typical year. In term of med school acceptance rate, Amherst is stronger than all of these schools. For HMS, I don’t think one is better than the other. A quality research from Berkeley or JHU might be the deciding factor.

Go to UCLA.

I base that off of the only person I know that ever went to Harvard Medical School. He went to UCLA for undergrad.

Obviously this is statistically significant. I think.
