UC Davis Appeal Dates for Transfers

Hi, just got rejected from UCD w/ 2.94.... Communication Major.
But i ain't giving up !!
I'm going to appeal because Davis has become my first choice now, though i'm still waiting on the other UCs, and i got in to UCR and SDSU.
Most likely if still can't get in to Davis after my appealing, i'm going to SDSU.

Anyway, does anyone know when to send the appeal form in and when they'll release the decision? Thanks!

My boyfriend was rejected w/4.15 GPA…engineering major.
What’s wrong with UCD…

zaamn. that’s ridiculous .=\ is he a transfer or freshman ?

@hope This is a community college transfer forum. None of the people on here are freshman applicants.

@mermaker

formomilan was talking about hopeforuc’s boyfriend, who had a 4.15, which is most likely a freshmen because no college, to my knowledge, has a 5.00 system.

We are out-of-state sophomore transfer. He got lots of A+ so his GPA is above 4…

does anybody know where i can find ucD’s appeal form…?

@hopeforuc!! He should def appeal! I bet he will get in.

@formomilan Really? I’ll tell him immediately. Thanks!

@ hope
Recalculate his GPA to a 4.00 scale to get an idea of what UCD may be looking at. The UCs will list an A+ on transcripts, but will not award an 4.33 for it; all As and A+ are valued as 4.0.

Who’s planning to appeal?

Do you guys think that I should give UCD a call to ask them why I was rejected? I am now taking the rest of the pre-req courses and will hav 63 unites by the end of this Spring. I mean, my GPA is low:2.94. And people say Communication is impacted… What might they say?
