sorry question asked already

Was it answered? I looked on previous pages but I’m wondering if the Appeal Students can see the RVSP Ticket Page

I don’t think we got a response from anyone yet. Guys, if you’re getting directed to the “Appeals Form”, please try RSVPing to Decision UC Davis. The instructions to check the appeals message is near the middle of page 2 and the RSVP stuff is on the previous page.

Please do!! ^^^^^^^^

These tricks may not mean anything.

What makes you say that? We can’t be sure unless someone with the “appeals form” says that they’re able to RSVP. And even then, it doesn’t discount the whole scenario where some people are getting the “appeal form” while others are getting the “sorry” message.

Found a case where they received the appeal form and register for decision day. I was hoping decision day meant something.

Huh, I guess the whole RSVP thing may be bogus then. And now that I look at it, it seems to be a way for Davis to simply keep track of how many people will be attending Davis on Decision Day (so they can prepare ahead of time). It’s fine though, no worries.

I still feel strongly about the appeal form that some of us are getting vs the message that others are getting. I mean, it seems to make sense because the only people with the appeal forms are those who have GPAs on the lower side of the spectrum for Davis (compared to past years). And they all seem to have applied to impacted majors (Psych, Bio, etc.). We’ll see. Don’t forget about the FAFSA trick though! That one’s been proven again and again to be working.

Sorry do you have the link for FAFSA trick? I hate this waiting. … :-(

Nvm!!! The link didn’t work before but now it’s working lol

Go here: https://financialaid.ucdavis.edu/MyAwards/Default.aspx

Log in and then select 2013-2014 for the aid year. Enter your UC Davis ID and your date of birth. In the next page, there will be a button that says Requirements in the upper left corner. Click that and it’ll show you a list of requirements. One of them will be “Admission Application Decision” or something like that. If it says Satisfied, you’re either accpeted or on the waitlist. If it says Not Satisfied, then you’re probably rejected.

Keep in mind that the Financial Aid office doesn’t receive info from the Admissions office until a few days before official decisions come out, so everyone’s status still says “Not Satisfied”. Let us know when it changes though!

Well then… you can disregard my last post haha. :P

Thank you though mine says “not satisfied” too.

Not satisfied
TAG’d as chem
~3.33 GPA

@GreenFlame: Can you go to the link below, log in, and then tell us if you get an appeal form or a message that says “Sorry, only non-selected applicants can appeal their decision”?

If you TAG’d, then you should get the “Sorry” message. This should help prove (or disprove) the theory that we’ve been juggling with since last night lol.

Its letting me rsvp but I get the appeal form…maybe there’s hope for me after all???

Yay ac! Don’t give up hope! I got the “sorry” message and I get the RSVP form.

I’m not giving up yet lol if I can get into sb I can get into Davis!

I am able to open the appeals form however my status is that my application is still under review.
