So in my TAG coursework for the upcoming Spring semester, I had a Chemistry class down as one of the classes I planned to take at my current CCC. I was wondering if it was a requirement to take it at that specific CCC, or can I take it at another one within the district.

Check with your CCC. In theory you can take any course at another CCC as long as it is transferable, but if the chem is part of a sequence you have to make sure that breaking them up will be OK. So, be sure and verify this with an advisor. NOTE: even being part of the same district does not always mean the course will be seen as comparable.
