<p>ok im in a dilemma. For the #2 UC essay (Question: Tell us about a talent, experience, contribution or personal quality you will bring to the University of California) </p>

<p>i can write about two things: this classical dance that i do and how im graduating this year OR submit a essay i wrote about my experience in India pertaining to the caste system. The thing is, the caste system essay is one of the best things ive writen (well others may not think its too good but i really like it). However, if i submit the caste system essay, i wont be able to talk about my dance talent. And i cant use the caste system essay for the 3rd question because i have another essay about an experience i had that i also really like.
SO, should i submit 2 experience essays (caste system and #3 one) or should i not submit the caste system essay and just the dance one?</p>

<p>im sorry if this is confusing. </p>

2. CASTE SYSTEM EXPERIENCE OR DANCE TALENT?!
3. experience essay about learning.</p>

<p>I have a question actually.... does the third essay, the open ended question, have to be about somet academic hardship? or can it be an extra curricular thing?</p>

<p>I assume it can be either - achievements or difficulties. In fact, it can be about anything apparently.</p>

<p>on my 3rd essay, i did it on my personality.</p>

<p>It can be on cow manure for all they care.</p>

<p>What did you guys write about for the first one? It seems like it's a topic where everyone would write the same thing (toughest classes; challenging themselves), so I'm not exactly sure what they'd like to see.</p>
