uc explanation for a D grade in both semesters in senior year for pre cal

hello everyone, i m still trying to figure out how this works here, but i am in extreme need of help here, so i got into UCdavis but the D grade, really worrying me ;'( so this is the essay i wrote but i wud really appritiate if anybody could gimme a lil help to organize it and mk it sound better

Even after putting all my effort into math analysis I want to confess getting D grades in my math analysis class. Math has always been difficult for me to grasp but this year there were many unfortunate difficulties that I faced. The very first week of school my teacher was in Philippines getting a knee surgery due to her prolonged sickness. When she returned we were in middle of first grading period but had not started our first chapter. Coming from a different country I have always find it very difficult to comprehend math when it is read to me. Our teacher was still weak and could not talk loudly or walk. Despite of not understanding many concepts clearly, I kept up my part of doing homework with the help of Khan Academy, but unfortunately, all topics were not always covered by them. In the mean time, I really liked the vocational training program I was going to and coming home at five in the evening was my routine. Today, I am a dental assistant with an honors certificate and because CCOC (Central County Occupational Center) took much of my school day, I was unable to go to tutoring after school which closed at five. Coming from an entirely different culture I found it to be epitome of disrespect when everyday more than half of the students in class were sleeping because back in India, the teacher would get very offended and kick the student out. The whole class environment became very de-motivating and not having class set of books due to budget cut added to the misery of first semester. I understand that in order to become a dentist I would need to go at least up to Calculus and with that in mind I took Pre-calculus this year but failing the subject has been shameful. I ask for a chance to let me prove that I can do better and I will. Despite of a very different teaching system in the United States when compared to India, I have A’ and B’s in all my classes.

wt should i delete and what should i keep or emphasize
i wuld really appriciate ur help

I didn’t do too much, just tweaked it a bit, I didn’t add much or slash superfluous material, I merely tweaked it and made it more eloquent. By the way, for someone speaking English as a second language, this was very good to begin with.

Even after applying myself as much as possible and pouring a seemingly immeasurable amount of effort into math analysis, I still must report earning D grades in my math analysis class. Math has always been somewhat difficult for me to grasp, however, this year there were an abundance of unfortunate occurences that effected me. The opening of school, my teacher was in Philippines getting knee surgery due to her prolonged sickness. When she returned we were in middle of first grading period but had not yet started our first chapter. Coming from a different country I have always found it very difficult to comprehend math when it is read to me. Our teacher was still quite weak and could not speak loudly or walk. Despite not understanding many concepts clearly, I continued to apply myself by actually attempting to do homework with the help of Khan Academy; unfortunately, all topics were not always covered by it. In the meantime, I’ve been enthralled with a vocational training program I took part in, and as a result, arriving home at five in the evening became my routine. I am currently a dental assistant with an honors certificate and because CCOC (Central County Occupational Center) required much of my school day to be devoted to it, I was unable to go to tutoring after school which closed at five. Coming from an entirely different culture I found it to be the epitome of disrespect when nearly everyday a majority of my peers were sleeping in class, because in India, the country from which I originate, a teacher would be very offended by a sleeping student and kick he or she out of class. The whole class environment became very de-motivating; not having class set of books due to budget cuts merely added to the misery of first semester. I understand that in order to become a dentist as I so yearn to be, I would need to take courses up to Calculus (At the least) and with that in mind I took Pre-calculus this year to better prepare myself, however, failing the subject has been downright shameful. I ask for a chance to let me prove that I will do better, as I can (My other grades portray this). Despite the presence of a very different teaching system in the United States when compared to India, I have A’ and B’s in all my classes (except for pre-calculcus), which demonstrates that I’m capable of doing work at the level required from me.
