I am currently attending two community colleges (in the same district) and I was wondering is it true that the school where you take your last courses is the school that will certify your IGETC?

Thanks,

School you are registered to. So which ever school domain e-mail you have. Like : Evity@saddleback.edu/ Evity@smc.edu… The one that has your e-mail address or your mysite from.

Yes. During your final semester you’ll gather up all your transcripts from other CCs and submit them to the one you’re attending at the time and they’ll get you IGETC certified. Since it’s the same district, it’s likely that both CCs have the same course names, numbers, outlines, and cover the same IGETC areas so equivalency between the two schools shouldn’t be an issue. If you’re still attending two schools during your final semester, what my counselors have told me is to do the IGETC at the CC you have completed the most units at.

Thanks guys!
