Has anyone received the acceptance letter and the package from UC Irvine? I was accepted to Campuswide Honors program, but I haven’t received anything in the email yet…
@Flutelover I received two physical letters in the mail- one for Regents, and one for CHP. I live in the Bay Area, if that helps. It wasn’t an official acceptance package (I think those come in March). On Monday I got an email inviting me to the “Honors Experience Day” event in April.
@ambitious19 wow holy crap.
Will you be attending UCI?
It seemed like they want you really bad.
@SteventoCollege I would never choose Irvine over Wellesley or Penn, so I probably won’t end up going there. But it’s still a solid school!
Will acceptances come out next week?
@ambitious19 Huh, I wonder why I’m not receiving any mail from them. I live around the central coast…

[*] I’m glad I got into UC Irvine and it’s definitely a great option, but I didn’t think I would get into the honors program straight out of high school considering my GPA.
It seems decisions have begun to go out based on the UCI twitter and instagram.
Anyone else been accepted?
Has anyone been accepted to Non-Honors programs? .-.
I don’t think acceptances have gone out yet for non regents/ CHP people. The date for releasing decisions simply says “early march.”
Judging from last year’s UCI admissions buzz on CC - it looks like 3/13 to 3/15 would be the likely dates for non-regents/non-CHP.
Do you know if they started releasing decisions for OOS?
@spiderwoman The only information I have is that March 1-31 date. That is all they have said, across all media.
So would decisions mostly come out after business hours? or is it random?
