Hey guys! I finally signed up instead of stalking. I asked their Instagram account if there are dates for the waves. and they replied with " no there are no dates that I can give out, except the latest by April 30." they dmed me their response tho. Also, the SIR for transfers is by june 1st

If we don’t hear back today we probably wont hear back until monday at least right? Do colleges release admissions decisions on weekends?

criminology major as well
UCI did release decisions for regular applicants on a Thursday and kept coming until Sunday afternoon. People were getting their decisions back to back. There was also a mix of waitlists. Rejections followed that same Sunday afternoon and kept coming in waves until Tuesday. After that decisions from acceptances and rejections started coming out in pockets.
However, I doubt UCI would pick a weekend to release their first batch of acceptances.
Well the wait to 5:30 begins!

i really wish there would be an immediate notification for when the decision is released so that i don’t keep interrupting my work by impulsively refreshing my portal 
having assignments due at midnight tonight is so inconvenient
