If i talked about an experience for this essay, do i explicitly have to say how it will help me to contribute to the vitality of the UC's? i dont exactly how it increases vitality. i just wrote about a profound experience i had and how i learned so much.

also, when they look for talents, do they focus on the essay or EC list? because i have a huge dance thing i do but i never mentioned it in my essays, i just listed it in the EC's

it depends , if ur essays speaks for itself how it may allow u to contribute, then dont write it explicitly as it would just seem redundant. but if u send ur essay to someone to edit w/o telling htem the prompt, and if they can't tell its ur essay for potential to contribute, then u might want to do that.

and regarding ur ECs things, i had the saem situation as u did , i won nationals for something but i didn't feel it gave a good rep of who i was so i just left it in my ECs thing =/ . sorry, but there are only 3 topics, u can add ur dance thing with another essay, as long as it doesn't detract focus.

probably. what if you had 3 talents? One of those you'd wanna write about in your essay. And the 2 other ones you could mention them in your ECs and give good descriptions
