Describe the world you come from -for example, your family, community or school -and tell us how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations.

Okay, working on my prompt #1 from scratch because I hate everything I wrote in the past. =/

I know this all probably counts on my execution, but I want to hear some feedback on my idea.

Basically: I've grown up in a conservative household. I live in a gated community. A gated community where I literally do not know any one else but one person, people constantly get lost, and there is no light at night. When I was eight I looked at the gate and thought it was something like a prison.

....

But I think it's shaped me in a way that it's made me the observant, curious, imaginative person I am. I've always been interested in the world outside of my own. It's always been my dream to travel, to engage with different people, etc, etc.

It's just...I guess in a sense it's that I saw my environment as limiting, but it just increased my curiosity about everything. (probably contributed to me becoming a big reader and going as far as speaking to people on the internet when I was also eight)

...Yeah. So. Any feedback would be much appreciated. That's the direction I'm looking to take.
