It looks like UCSC is notifying transfers today. Several are being waitlisted. Hopefully they will start taking folks off those waitlists soon.

nope, not a peep. I think the speculation is that they are going to come out monday but latest Tuesday of next week for appeal decisions. good luck all.

ahhh it’s happening! appeal decisions come out either today or tomorrow! good luck y’all, i’m rooting for us all!!
is there any reason the appeal decisions would come out today rather than tomorrow? really hoping for today but I don’t want to get too excited
They just seem to like sending out information on Mondays, but I have no hard evidence to support that other than other CC forums!

nope! probably going to start at noon from what i saw on last years thread. from last years thread, it looked like they came in waves but weren’t super predictable, so good luck!!! it’ll all work out in the end

just got an email a few minutes ago-- admission was denied. does anyone know when the first rounds of waitlist acceptances will get released?

My appeal was unsuccessful but at this point I am most likely going to remove my name from the waitlist. I visited UCSC and highly disliked the isolated feel of the campus. Good luck to everybody else.
likewise appeal unsuccessful. but my son wants to go there so he’s going to stay on the waitlist.
the first wave of waitlist admits usually come out in the first week of may, right?

I got denied as well, I had included that I have an offer to play for the wsoccer team too
