Hi i am currently in a cc right now and i have a question about TAG. I'm planning to TAG to UCSD, UCD, UCSB, and UCI this upcoming fall. I was wondering do councilors and UC's look only at your UC GPA when i wanna join TAG because i do have some classes that are nontransferable to a UC but is added into my current GPA right now. So do i just look at my unofficial transcript and add all my UC transferable classes and that will be my UC GPA?

I never knew it was possible to sign a TAG agreement with that many schools…

What i did for my TAG to UCSD and UCSB was set an appointment with my CC counselor.

During that appointment she looked at my transcript, and calculated my gpa for UC TRANSFERABLE courses.

She signed my TAG agreement to UCSB and I mailed it, for UCSD i marked it on the UC application.

and viola, i got accepted to UCSD and UCSB for Fall 2010.

usually only the UC transferable courses will matter and will end up being your GPA.

Only UC transferable classes contribute to your GPA. You can check if they are UC transferable by going on assist.org

By the way, it is very unlikely you are going to be able to TAG to that many schools. At my california community colleges (Foothill & De Anza), I was only allowed to TAG up to two schools.

Good luck!

I’m pretty confident that you can only TAG for two schools like a couple of people have already stated.
