I’m sure this topic has been discussed SEVERAL times, but i can’t find ones that really answers my questions…
So i got 2 questions:

If transferring from UCSD to another UC (i’m thinking of UCB or UCD) SIGNIFICANTLY harder than transferring from a community college?

I’m a freshman with 90.5 units right now, and want to graduate a year early to save money… If i tranfer after my second year in UCSD with enough units, would it be possible for me to graduate UCB or UCD in one year?

I would approciate any input on my questions… and for all the UCSD students who might read this, I think UCSD is a fantastic school, it’s just that I want to move back up to Norcal… haha

Hey srvmvly90 I am an sophomore at UCSB originally from the Bay Area also looking to transfer to UCB or UCD to stay closer to home.

Community College transfer students get priority over UC transfer students. I recommend transferring to a Norcal CC and then from there transfer to UCB/UCD. Going to a CC will put you in a higher echelon for transferring and also save you some money.

If you have 90.5 units, then you have junior status :D! Graduating a year early depends on how many pre-reqs and pre major classes you have passed. Unless you pass all your pre reqs / pre major classes and start taking classes for your major in your second year I think graduating by year 3 is unlikely.
