UC to UC transfers = hard?

Is it hard to transfer from a UC to another UC (if you get like almost a 4.0)? ie from a lower one like SB to like SD or something…?

<p>Yes, transfers from one UC to another are not unheard of, but they are rare. It's much easier to to transfer from a community college to a UC.</p>

<p>its not as easy as from a CC, put its not "rare". UCLA's xfer page says "Lastly, we give highest priority to students who are transferring from California community colleges or other University of California campuses."</p>

<p>So that means UC's, or UCLA for that matter DOES give priority to other UC campuses after JC's...?</p>
