I planning on transferring to UC system fall 2016 and I wanted to know where I have a chance. I am also applying to CSU system.
GPA: 3.4 (I could probably raise it to 3.5 by fall)
Major: I have fulfilled requirements for a couple of majors, I am mainly considering neurobiology at UC Davis, Anthropology BS, and Cognitive Science
EC: I have volunteered at shelters, hospital, free clinic, tutoring
Dream schools: UC Davis, UC Irvine

Have you considered the TAG program?
@luckie1367 I don’t qualify for TAG at UC Davis because I got a C in one of my major courses, even though I meet the required GPA. Should I consider tagging a different major? For UC Irvine, Cognitive Science is not eligible for TAG. Since I can only TAG one, I want to make sure I am eligible.

TAGging another major might lead to some problems. For the TAG to be valid, you must have the same major on your UC application. So, if you put one major for Davis on the TAG and another on your UC app, you TAG is void.
@luckie1367 I though I could put different majors when applying to different UC’s. For Davis, I know I have to put the same major for TAG and the general app for Davis. BUT if I apply to Irvine, I can still apply as another major. Am I correct?
Correct. The only things that have to match are the majors for the school you are TAGging to.
For example, you could TAG philosophy to Davis, and you’d have to put Philosophy at Davis on the UC app. For irvine, you could put sociology, or anything else.
