moment of truth submitting tomorrow or tuesday. wish me luck guys.

applying UCLA, CAL, UCSB(already go accepted through tag), UCR(got email stating that I am eligible for admission) UCI(submitted tab but nothing yet.)

All I have to do is grammar check my Personal statment, then ill celebrate by going to go see VAN HALEN on tuesday.

Thanks for all your info guys and I wish you all the best of luck, hoping for UCLA.

Yea, I have just about everything finished as well; just have to put the finishing touches on my essays (on my 7th draft), submit, and proceed to become a nervous wreck until May.

i did about four drafts had two peer mentors from UCLA look it over, along with two ungrad admissions reps, and the undergraduate admissions head counsler look it over all got positive feed back.

Rshaan, dont wait any long bro. Get down to business man, its never worth waiting till the last minute, I used to love to do that, thats why its taken 4 years to transfer.

lies, procrastination is a terminal illness...i procrastinated in elementary, hs, work, community college, college apps, and i still procrastinate after transfering

What are my chances if I'm out-of-state? : (

I'm currently a freshman at Drexel University so I have no idea what my current stats are, however...so far I've only seen people who want to transfer that are in state!

Applying to : UCB, UCLA, UCSB, CSU FULLERTON, SDSU
From: Moorpark College
GPA: 3.0 :(
Major: Mass Comm (UCB), Comm. Studies (LA), Comm.(SB), Comm. emphasis on media studies (FULL, SDSU)
IGETC: Certified in Spring 08 w/AA
Pre. Reqs: Finished for all colleges/universities
One W, one honors class
EC's: Employment at a bank full time (35-40 hrs a week)
Essay: I think it was pretty good to tell you the truth.

Yeah, i noticed that after I submitted my application...

I've been seriously considering possibly taking my Spring 08 courses and some summer courses to get my GPA up and then applying for Spring of 09 or Fall of 09.

Do you think that would be a smarter road to take?

I already finished the pre reqs for everything so I would just be finishing the IGETC and taking a few classes I wanted to take over summer.

Killer, not all of those colleges allow Spring admission. In fact I think the majority don't. Only concern would be exhausting relevant courses at the community college level.

You're probably a good match for a couple of those colleges, and I understand that full time employment helps.
