UCB transfer from International College CR 1 in all first 3 semesters but bad HS GPA

I am and have been CR 1 (Class Rank) overall in my class here in Brazil, for the first 3 semesters, out of 90 students. My College is well renowned internationally and has joint programs with Stanford, Columbia and Berkeley. However, I had a pretty bad GPA (below 3.0) at High School; and I don’t want to get into any explanations at all, but I just didn’t study at HS, and now I do a lot. We don’t need HS Scores to get into any University in Brazil. We just take admission tests. If you do extremely well at them, you guarantee a place in any brazilian U.
If I manage to get an exchange with UCB, and do well, do you guys think I would be able to get a transfer?

Also, are there any other important things regarding transfer other than extracurriculars, College and HS GPA?

Thanks in advance

PS: Had to make another topic because I can’t edit the other one, and I didn’t write all important information and didn’t make all questions I wanted to make.

Your best bet is to go to a community college in California. Then, assuming you have a good GPA, you’d most likely get in.

UCs don’t ask for HS grades or test scores for transfer students.
