UCB UCLA UCSD

Hello, I am a current student (international) at California Community College, and I have applied to UCB, UCLA, UCSD with an anthropology B.A. major. Now, I have 3.88 of GPA, and it seems like I can earn up to 3.89 after finishing this quarter with all A’s. Except ESL classes, I only got one C from the Math class at the very first quarter.
For my major classes, I mostly got A+'s, and one or two A’s. To let you know more specific idea, I finished to take Eng classes up to English 1B / finished GE / took classes up to 100units -except ESL classes those are untransferrable.
An officer of a club, called global culture network, as a Marketer position. / Participated in the domestic violence center as a volunteer…
Those are basic information of mine that I currently have. I would like to see what are my chances to get into the UCB, UCLA, and UCSD.

By looking up the chart of average acceptance rate of Anthropology major student at UCLA, those who got accepted in UCLA were mostly having 3.56 of average GPA. (I wasn’t able to find UCB and UCSD’s average acceptance rate chart.)
… Although the average acceptance rate of UCLA shows that I have relatively high-opportunity to get into there, I don’t really expect it since it is getting more difficult to get accepted to UCLA nowadays. I would like to know what are my chances to get into UCLA!

I believe I pretty much have a high-possibility to get into UCSD. Many friends of mine who transferred to UCSD say that I can easily get into UCSD with 3.88 GPA. How do you think about this idea?

And finally, I would like to see the chance if I can get into UCB or not, I understand you guys cannot ensure… but just like to see your thinking.

Please let me know if I have omitted any important information to assume my possibilities…!

Thank you.

Have you completed all of the prerequisites for the Anthropology major at either school?

Also, will you have your general education requirements completed (either by IGETC or just the breadth requirements for each school)?

(Edit: I see your saying that you completed your general education requirements, but which path did you follow?)

Completing prerequisites for the major is important. If you did complete all of them, or even most, then I would think you are very competitive for all of the schools you mentioned - even UCB/UCLA.

Hello, I have completed all of the prerequisites by completing to take GE classes with following IGETC path. And I took 100 transferrable units of classes (I included my current quarter’s units which are 15 units.) To be specific, my Fall 15 quarter, which was my last qtr, shows that I took 85 units in total… and this Winter 2016 quarter, I have 100 units if I complete this quarter…

And of course, I completed all the major requirements.

Okay, good. I think you have a very good chance for all three of the schools.

Thank you
