<p>I don't have any direct experience with UCI Engineering but from everything I've read, you're going to get pretty much the same education at both schools. The schools differ in their location and non-academic makeup. </p>
<p>If it comes down to a choice between the two schools, I would decide based on other factors such as location, no-cal vs. so-cal, suburban vs. college town, etc.</p>

<p>UCD has a top 25 biomedical engineering department, which is not true of UCI.</p>

<p>I don't know but I would guess that anything Bio related is better at UCD...</p>
