Hi All, it’s crunch time and DS is trying to decide between UCD and UCI for biomed. In UCI he is biomed with premed, which is awesome. He likes UCI campus better, but UCD is ranked higher? Although he is admitted into UCSD, his major is biochem, and it is nearly impossible to switch majors there into biomedical engineering? He loves UCSD campus, and his next choice is UCI campus. He wants to remain SoCal. Any thoughts and insights would be much appreciated!
If both programs are ABET accredited, ranking should not make any difference for UCI and UCD. Let him go where he feels most comfortable. A happy student is a successful student.
