Can someone give me the exact number I am supposed to call to talk to someone about my conditions of admission? I am having a hard time figuring this out for whatever reason.

I am possibly getting a D this Spring in an English class, that I was just taking for fun, because I turned in the final paper a day late. I don't know yet because grades are not released and my professor will not answer e-mails. I know that I passed my two major prereq classes (Bio III, Calc II) with B's, plus one other class with an A. I want to make sure this is not going to affect my admissions decision. I am a science major, so this English class is not a prerequiste class for me and I finished IGETC a long time ago. Plus, my UC GPA will still be a 3.10 with the D. On my conditions of admission, there is a part that says you must receive a C or higher in the classes listed below or something like that, but then it lists no classes... is this how it is for everyone?

Thanks, dick. I’ve obviously googled it already. There is nothing that says who to specifically call about conditions of admission issues. And I’m guessing I have the number now because there was a number at the bottom of the e-mail response that I got this afternoon.

…wow, u dont have to be rude!

Me? I’m guessing you didn’t click on the link.

Lets see… The very first result returned by a google search is a page with the title “UC Davis Undergraduate Admissions” and the sub-title “Contact Directory” says the following
Yet the OP doesn’t seem to make the connection that perhaps this should be the number to call if you have conditions of admission issues. After all it didn’t have that exact phrase on the page, so who could possibly deduce that is the number to call?

Yep, real UC material here…

Exactly. So, I’m just going to stick with my original response.

Or… is it really inconveniencing you that much to confirm a number for me? Am I taking up that much or your precious internet forum time? I even asked another question in the post. Jesus.

Is this your general attitude in life? Because, if so? You really need to dial down the entitlement. I mean, really? You know, the people on this forum don’t actually work for you.

carry on.

The people on this forum are here because they want to ask questions, get answers, and be generally informative. To the best of my knowledge, this is the entire purpose of this forum. So, I’m sorry, but you saying that I am acting entitled by expecting that questions are answered on a forum that is for questions to be answered… that makes me think you are just an internet ■■■■■.

Dude, you can’t even pass an English class.

Dude, I am not an English major and decided to focus on my prereq classes. Also, it is an honors theory class and I don’t know that I didn’t pass. Why are you stalking me?

I got into Berkeley and I’m not an English expert.

You’re going to do just as mikemac suggested and contact UCD admissions through this number:
Phone Advising: 530-752-2971
Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Ask to speak to an admissions officer because the person who will answer the phone will most likely be an intern/someone who works in the office. They should be able to transfer you to someone to speak to that can also access your application. Even if they can’t connect you to an admissions officer, just ask them what number you call in order to do so.

As for your second question, I’m not entirely sure.

Thanks, Brittann. I got all the information that I need from a Davis e-mail response yesterday.

@HopingtoXfer

That was literally about being able to read. Just plain reading, nothing expert about it. I am fully aware that not everyone who goes to Berkeley is a genius, believe me.
