Hi everyone, just got accepted from the waitlist to davis for biomedical engineering and I was wondering how Davis’s engineering department compares to USD. USD was previously where I was planning on going because of $30k in scholarships, but the in state price of Davis is still much cheaper. I recently decided I wanted to do mechanical engineering instead, but as far as education, internship opportunities and job opportunities, which would be the smarter choice for ME? USD gives a dual BA/BS and has small classes+ lots of resources, but its much more expensive as well (money is important, haven’t gotten financial package from davis yet.), and I guess Davis has more “prestige”. Advice? Thanks in advance, really don’t know what to do.
