UCF and Penn State

Hi, I am a Senior in VA and I got accepted into UCF and Penn State(Main Campus). Now this may seem like a really weird combination but I am dead split between the two. I plan on going to one of these schools for an Information Technology degree but I have no idea which one will get me further or if it doesn't even matter. The problem is I really love the Orlando area but I feel like Penn State would give me the better education. Can someone give me information to better my decision?
If you can, thank you very very much

I don’t know much about UCF, but Penn State certainly has a much better academic reputation. If sports are your thing, PSU football is hard to top. I’ve been to a few of their games, and the white outs are unbelievable.

I got into UCF, too! lol

Well if you really want to go to UCF you should look into one of the STEM programs, COMPASS and EXCEL, as they’re are the only math/science/technology focused programs at the university and the school is really trying to push them. As far as PSU goes, I don’t know much about their specific tech programs, but you’re right to think that they have a stronger reputation, and taking this into consideration it probably has tantamount technology programs to UCF, if not better.

Hope this helped some. :)

WE ARE

“PENN STATE”

Sorry, I’m biased :p

Penn state you will have a much better chance of getting the job you want in life if you attend penn

If the money is even close Penn State is much better.

Didn’t you get in any of your state school like VTech? If you have in state choice neither are worth additional $30 K per year.

Thank you guys for the input. I actually just paid my down payments for Penn State next year so that’s where I’ll be going!
