i think the one with the QuestBridge results. this one is too messy
Yup!! Good Luck! I know for a fact that where ever you go, you will excel! Fix this in your head and you will be happy
: “Don’t “just” let a college define you, strive to ensure that you define your college”
Don’t know if it is exactly what I wanted to say, but hopefully, the message gets across!!!
Good luck to everyone!!! We’re all amazing and any college would be lucky to have us. Just take a deep breath and try to relax. Our decisions are almost here!
Ditto @ asimusa2010, well put! My son graduated UChicago March 2017, and my daughter applied EA (thus why I am here stalking you all!). Simply that you applied to UChicago says you have accomplished much to be proud of, so EXHALE! At this point it comes down to if someone in admissions saw something in your application that speaks to the UChicago culture, and it is absolutely impossible to know exactly what that might be.
My parting 2 cents: It is impossible to see the big picture when at this moment you are dying to shout “I got accepted at Yale, or Duke, or UChicago.” Please know that ALL universities have outstanding opportunities to assist you in reaching your future goals, but you must SEEK THEM OUT. Wherever you end up, immediately begin exploring the extracurricular programs the campus has to offer, including internships, career center events, and study abroad opportunities. Blue skies!
My currant third year wants me to tell you: “Be careful what you wish for!” :)) >:) B-)
LOL…@UCMom19
Hey guys, decisions will be in several hours, so good luck for everybody! We all can do it! BTW, I was waitlisted last year with lower SAT scores and much worse essays than now. In fact, I even made a repetitive mistake in the name of the university . So, hope I have good chances this year

Hi, you all seem like a smart bunch!! pls if you took honors English 9 or is extremely skilled at English, give me advice in my thread. My midterm is tomorrow. I need advice on answering multiple choice questions more effectively and reading and understanding the texts more efficiently. My older brother graduated from UChicago.
wait, did you re-applied? if so, then we are twins
half an hour to go guys!!! hang in there!!
Did they send any emails?I’m confused
An hour and a half actually I believe, since UChicago is in CST not EST!
it’s 4 PM CST! less than 30 min to go @christhedemon
Good luck to everyone! Where will we see the decisions on the portal? Thanks.
@sunshinestateg I’d imagine near the top. Good fortune and relaxed nerves to all!
is it coming around 5 pm EST or CST? any idea?
