My son’s did, too. Now it basically just says everything complete.

No, my son is RD & he interviewed. We live just outside of a big city.

I don’t know if this is how they’re really doing it. Other colleges seem to be contacting students instead.
My son definitely did not request this one himself. He did that at other schools, when instructed to do so, but not at Chicago. Also, the invite is with a student interviewer (a senior), not an alum. Trying not to read too much into it, but just curious how it unfolds.
No interview for me yet. Also my W-2 and tax info still says not received despite the fact IDOC processed it last week.

Interesting. The numbers probably dictate that they can’t interview everyone, so I was initially thinking maybe my son’s ED2 status sealed it, but @jprtaco says his RD candidate got one, so who knows? Maybe they throw darts at a wall. I think my kid is a great candidate, but I am under no illusions that he is a great-ER candidate than the rest of the two pools.
I(Ed 2) was the only one of my friends(ED 1 mostly) who received an interview offer from UChicago. A ED1 friend was not offered an interview by the school and so he found an alum from our area who emailed the school and they allowed that alum to interview my friend. So that can be an option for ya’ll too.
Does anyone know when ED 2 results will come out? When were they released last year?
@kcrag, last year it was on 2/15 at 5pm. I think they send an email a few days before with exact date.
