What if there were some issues with my transcript (sent by my school)? What would happen to my application?

To be more specific: I transferred to my present school about a year ago, and I’m worried that the records from my old school weren’t sent properly, because my guidance counselor said that there had been some issues (this was ~4 weeks ago).

Just had my interview today! It was somewhat awkward but then again most of my interactions are mostly he talked and asked if I had any questions so it seemed a bit more informative than evaluative…

2014grad123 - same here! Had my interview a couple of days ago - it lasted for two hours; we talked a lot about philosophy, econ, and the Scav Hunt - and the alum said I was a perfect fit for UChicago! Hope it went perfectly for you as well!

Hello everyone - anthropology major here! Great to meet all of you By the way, did you guys get any weird interview questions? One of mine was “what logo would you design for the Department of Anthropology?”. LOL.

I wish I’d had questions like that! My interviewer was really sweet but she was in her seventies, so it was very traditional. Cool person, though

Has anyone’s october act score been processed? On my uchicago account, it says that they are still awaiting for my official test score. What should I do?

Thanks for the support guys! I was pretty sad when I found out but I’m trying to be positive and see it as a stepping stone. I believe I saw on one of the QuestBridge Facebook pages that Omar was not Matched either, it was quite I tough pool this year!

Hello! I’m new to this thread and CC entirely. I have my interview this Wednesday! Any advice? I’m terrible at interviews. Also, that question about a logo for the Anthro department is pretty odd haha, I’m not sure I would’ve been able to answer it

@carter001 Be prepared to answer some general questions like “Why UChicago?”, “How do you think the academic atmosphere will effect your future?, etc. etc.” as well as some questions about your extracurriculars and passions. Just relax and smile - the interviewers, you will find, are relatively normal and very nice! Good luck!

Hey, you guys all just seem so awesome!
I’m a UChicago hopeful too, I’ve been in love with the university since they sent me that first email! (don’t judge me by my username, though if i have to be crazy I’d say i’m the Chicago kind of crazy)
I just loved the essay topics, they’re actually the reason i decided to apply. I did the joke one. I’d love to read some other essays, there’s no harm if we’ve already applied right?
Though if no one wants to send me theirs, its cool. I can’t wait (hope) to meet you all. best of luck to all of us!
