Ughhh this is annoying. I just want at least the date so I can set a legit final countdown.
Same- I have friends who are getting Cornell decisions today and UPenn decisions tomorrow- I want my decision too! 
Okay guys, so apparently, someone called the admissions office and asked about the release date and was told decisions would come out next Friday late afternoon! Meaning the 16th!!

I wish they’d just release them tomorrow. What makes me so anxious is that I know my fate has already been sealed- I just don’t know what said fate is!!
@smartspencer I have this exact thought all the time!! I seriously can’t believe my decision exists filed away in a computer somewhere, and I can’t see it yet!
@johnwayne8321 you know that groupme group chat that someone made a couple days ago?someone posted in there that they were getting tired of not knowing so they called the school and asked. That’s what they were told.
@smartspencer Are you sure EA and ED decisions have been finalized. These things take time and precision, you know.
btw, Is it just me or is everyone seeing the “withdraw application form” on their uchicago portal?! Why would I want to freaking withdraw right now! Who else sees it, please?!
Everybody sees it, don’t worry!! It’s if your plans totally changed, like you’re going into the army next year or something. Just don’t hit the button accidentally

guys I’m so nervous, I thought they would tell ED applicants yesterday and then 10 days later for EA… can some explain to me the process?
This is for the ED applicants that might have had a change of circumstance. There’s a possibility that a student was given an offer from another school that is quite tempting. An example scenerio would be an athlete that received a recruitment offer. If UChicago wouldn’t place you on their team, but Williams will, does that impact your ED decision? UChicago is offering students a “last chance” to get out of their contract. I think it’s very thoughtful for all: the College, the individual student, and the rest of the applicants!!
The UChicago Admissions twitter said “check back soon for the exact date” 3 days ago to someone who tweeted at them asking.
