the blog says something about monday, so i was actually surprised to get an email today. i hope it was real and not a fluke mistake! again, good luck to everyone still in the process, and espicially to those who really want to go!

Yeah Im trying to think like a atom thats lost an electron, but I cant help it (yeah I retarded recycled joke).

I have finals tuesday, wednesday, and thursday so I wonder how finding out the result will affect my performance. If I get rejected I might be depressed but still try to do good since I'm gonna apply again...if I get accepted the only substantial reason why I'll be studying is for grad school.

my thoughts exactly w/ the finals thing. mine finished friday before last so i was almost (but not really) happy they were delayed. bad = sad & depressed, no studying. happy = don't give a s***, no studying. then again, i still did pretty badly on finals!

I can't focus on finals at all...I have two on tues so if I find out tomorrow i will have no buffer period to recover (from acceptance or rejection). ugh.

Just spoke with them on the phone. It's very unlikely that RD will get their decisions this week. They said it'll most likely be next week.
...uncommon application process.

Yesterday we sent emails to around 70 newly admitted students. If you're one of them, we have an announcement: Congratulations! And we have another announcement: since we were late in getting our decisions out, you have until June 15 to decide to enroll; not until June 1. If you have any questions, please email transfer@bobball.uchicago.edu

I was wondering the same.

If they do not mail out our credit evals this week, then I think it is safe to assume that our deadling will be extended. They better mail it, or my decision will be easy.

the fact that 70 were accepted yesterday really makes me believe that those who haven't received their decision yet aren't going to be offered a spot.
