I was just printing out my schedule and noticed that I signed up for Chem 1A not Engr 1A, as a civil engineering major. So do I have to switch. School starts in a couple of days, and I will have to drop 3 classes to switch and add another 3. I don’t want to risk loosing my classes.

You can just take chem 1a. They only said to take engr 1a if you were in civil during spop so that they could get people to take that class. Also, that class requires you to do the aleks refresher course. A lot of people that I know, who are also in mechanical, civil, and electrical, are taking chem 1a, including myself. You can stay in chem 1a
