^lol ShoeFactory, I know you post at WCR too...

Anyways, I got into CHP with regents, but does anyone know why there is significantly less money for regents this year? Did they accept more students? Or is their simply less money than last year. I probably will end up not attending UCI, but congratulations to everyone that have already been accepted.

I cant believe that many people on CC dont have a clue abt Regents.

Whoever said Regents was not at UCB was misinformed. Regents and CHP are at every UC. Go to the UC main website and it will tell you when they notify applicants of Regents and Honors stuff. Its like 2% - 5% of the admitted class that gets Regents every year. And this year due to budget cuts they are only offering like $2500.

I got into the Honors program, but it doesn't look like I have Regents scholaship, despite 2 800 SAT II scores, 4.25 GPA, and a lot more. =[

I don't get it.

UCR's giving me a $5000 Regents scholarship with CHP, so I'm not sure if the Regents scholarship caps at $2500 like someone said it did. At Irvine, maybe.

I got Regents and CHP! But yeah it’s just 2500, and I apparently don’t qualify for need-based aid… UCI is still my super safety but at least I’ll have the CHP if I end up having to go; I wasn’t able to go to the Honors Day but it sounds cool.
