Got a regents interview for UC Berkley.
Denied from UCLA</p>
<p>Majored in Mechanical Engineering for all of them</p>

Lots of ECs and Lots of leadership positions. </p>
<p>Is this a common occurrence?</p>
<p>Weird, my son got rejected from UCSD, UCLA but got in UCI a few weeks ago! Tmblack, hold out for Berkeley!</p>
<p>UGH got rejected ( i know this is the wrong thread ) but if anyone that doesn’t plan on going to UCSB tell them that you don’t plan on going? like reject their acceptance? haha I’m on the waitlist and I NEED TO get in. Asian parents…laying down the law if I don’t.</p>

<p>The admissions website says that we’ll all hear back no later than May 15th. So make sure to submit an SIR before May 1st, and if you do get in, then I think all you have to do is cancel your SIR.</p>
