suggest if you were admitted to another campus
that you accept admissions. If we use the wait
list and you are selected then you can cancel at
the other campus.

<p>Oh, yea I think that applies for all schools. Schools have the option to not use the wait list at all if they don’t want to… But I think it’s pretty mean of them to get our hopes up and to crush them down D:</p>
<p>I feel as if they would need to use it because it seems like a lot of people are declining their UCI admissions from what I see at school/other schools/forums/etc… And if they don’t have enough students, they wouldn’t be getting enough money… Hopefully they end up using it though! :(</p>

<p>i was looking at threads from last year and people from the waitlist got accepted like a week (or 2?) before may 1st
and some people found out like may 2nd or 3rd…
so its coming up! </p>
<p>oh and i also know alot of people who are rejecting their admissions to UCI as welll so that helps our chances! :)</p>
<p>My son is declining UCI admisssion (because of money), he choose SDSU, Is going to be possible make a transfer to UCI on his junior year?</p>

<p>I was waitlisted as well. If not UCI, then it’s SDSU for me.<br>
I just went to UCI open house last Saturday and it made me want to go so much more…

-All waitlisted applicants will be notified on 5/15.
-UCI first used a waitlist two years ago.
-Two years ago everyone on the waitlist was admitted.
-Last year not a single person from the waitlist was admitted.</p>

<p>Man, I don’t want to waste my time taking the writing placement exam so I hope if they end up rejecting me, they do it before the 14th…</p>
<p>Man, admissions was weird this year. Got into UCI with 3.8 and 26 on ACT. I feel like a lot of you are more qualified than me and got rejected from UCSB (my top choice)</p>
<p>I have low scores also (3.85 GPA, 27 on ACT, 1850 SAT), but I had audition for dance major - so I think that was one thing that got me into UCI. I am so happy with acceptance. UCSB accepted me into honors program (I declined it) - what is with that???</p>

<p>Yea last year’s threads people found out around May 4th or 5th I believe! Hopefully we find out soon and hopefully the outcomes are good! :)</p>
