<p>The uci admissions is a lot of bs. I decline my offer of admission so that someone can get off the waitlist, yet they say it won’t accept it until may 1st because they hope I change my mind. So much for acts of kindness.</p>

<p>Yeah, bballplyrref, I’m not entirely sure where you’re getting your facts from, but the wait list notification said the latest you will find out is by May 15. I also talked to an UCI housing person. She said all waitlisters will hear starting on May 1; I guess they kind of go in groups with the highest being given yes/no replies, then they submit yes or no. Then they notify the next group, so on and so on. You will learn no later than May 15, but this means you will not get garunteed housing, in case you were wondering. Hopefully housing is still open, though.</p>

<p>i have a feeling alot of ppl are goin to be accepted by the waitlist since not alot of ppl have enough money to afford college at this time… plus FA is really hard t get right now so alot of ppl are goin to have to decline their acceptance</p>

<p>Ok…soo I understand that there’s a lot of fellow people here who are able to get in if there will be enough space, but for me, I’m out here somewhere by myself because I applied as a BA Music major, and i was supposed to go to the mandatory auditions that were held during Jan., but I didn’t attend, yet I still get waitlisted as a music major??? o_O does this mean that I (if I get in) got a free ticket to the music major w/o the auditions? won’t the admissions office instead consider my alternative major? (undeclared)? i’m lost… :(</p>
