<p>In the calendar it says fall quarter ends on December 14th, but says that December 24th is when the holiday starts, what happens between these dates?? I'm an international so am I allowed o leave on the 15th? Help me please I have to book tickets!</p>
<p>You are “allowed to leave” at any time. 
This is a free country.</p>
<p>That being said, people usually leave after they are done with final exams or final papers or whatever their last task is. As you can see from the calendar, finals are officially scheduled for December 10-14, although they could be earlier for some classes, and some other classes may have no final at all.</p>
<p>If your last final is before December 14, you can leave before December 14. On the other hand, if you have unfinished administrative business to take care of after the end of the term, you might stay after December 14. Note that if you live in a UCLA dorm, they will close and kick you out around the last day of finals; it is possible I believe to request a later moveout, but it’s only for a short period of time.</p>
<p>Between December 14 and December 24, most students will be gone from school, but some school offices will remain open (and some grad students, etc. will still be working). School services like buses and cafeteria will be limited or non-existent.</p>

<p>There is a way to see exactly when each of your classes will have its final exam. Maybe someone will post that. I think you click the class info when you are registering for fall classes. They state when the final will be so that people will not schedule classes that have the same final day and time. So when you are registering for fall classes you may find that all your finals take place before Dec. 13 so you could leave on the 13th, etc. If you do not yet have your fall schedule and must get a ticket now to get a good fare I would get it for the 15th. If they say finals go through the 14th you may have one on the 14th so do not book for the 14th. If you would like a couple extra days after finals to pack, etc. make it for the 16th or 17th. So basically once you have taken your last final you may leave.</p>
<p>If you’re in the dorms you will have to leave by the morning of the 15th.</p>
