A central thread to pool together all of us hopeful appeals. I sent mine in already along with some letters of rec from some of my professors.

im on the list too.

Have you sent in an appeal yet?

yes i have. i sent it in last week. i didnt include any letters of rec though

What percentage of appeals gets accepted?

2-5% I believe.

0% 10 char

The question is, when do we find out? I got into UCSD but I would much rather go to UCLA.

Sent mine in last Tuesday, no letters of rec either…

I heard that we will find out around mid-June

I hope not. I have to tell UCSD by June 1st that I intend to transfer there. Can I go back on the june 1st date?

UCLA says usually 3 weeks from when they receive the appeal, they’ll reply. but cannot guarantee bfore june 1st.

does anyone see their appeal being received by ucla yet? i sent mine in on tuesday as well.

Actually, the number of people who get accepted by appealing is: ~3%.

Good luck everyone!

Are we able to view the appeal status online?

Or we have to call them to make sure that our appeals are being reviewed?

I mailed out my appeal to UCLA today with 3 doctor’s notes explaining a medical condition I had from 7 years ago that affected my first year of college that i did NOT talk about in my UC application

good luck to everybody here

Yeah I want to know about how we find out.
