Has anyone gotten off the WL that was IS and from South Orange County?
At this point I am ok if they reject off the waitlist at least they should notify folks. I accepted last night and not sure how long I can wait to get off UCLA waitlist. The longer this takes the more delay we shall have for all the orientation, housing etc etcā¦Just want to get this over with and move on in life
I just submitted my SIR, but do I have to pay the $250 deposit? It says not required so im confused lol
Not 100% sure, but I heard that you if qualified for the fee waiver when applying, you will for the SIR deposit.
i believe what they mean is you can choose to defer payment, but it has to be paid eventually (although im not sure, this is just what other schools are doing) @waitlistedgirl

I got in this morning (8:30), IS and in the northern California area. I was admitted as Pre-Mathematics, Financial Actuarial. I wrote a modest sized essay (same size as UC Berkeleyās) and included my senior year grades (all Aās.) My stats were a 4.0/4.2 and an Act of 33. Stay hopeful everyone!
i know how you feel, im in the same position. honestly its really hard but it might just be better to forget about ucla for the time being. you will probably feel different if they accept you at a later time (and then it can be a nice surprise rather than from pent up frustration and anticipation) @2024Graduate
so many of you guys are so accomplished, im surprised that ucla didnāt outright accept you!! going to a state school really means something completely different in california considering how competitive it is

when should I apply for housing and class? Is orientation able now?
Just curious, are they accepting waitlists by geographical areaā¦for example like Nor Cal or SoCal?

@samkr14 Someone said that they got accepted and they were from Orange County (SoCal) and Iām from Contra Costa County (NorCal) so I believe it goes deeper than county and region. It might have to correlate even within school district or school. But this is just my guess 
Hey guys! I got off the waitlist this morning and just submitted my SIR; however I tried to open the housing application with my SID but it wonāt allow me to sign in. Is anyone else having this issue?
@lillos A majority of us are and as one have said in a past post, they had to wait a few days for the housing portal to become activated. They said it should be up by Monday.
Is anyone elseās portal down right now?

Hey, did anybody get waitlisted for the School of Arts and Architecture?? I got waitlisted for the Design | Media Arts major, and I donāt know anybody else who got waitlisted for an arts major!!!
