Check Ursa, Yea.

THANK YOU TrEbOr!!!

is efan ucla's financial aid offer for you guys? seems kinda late for them to come out?

They officially come out today, the others have been provisional.

This is where you can electronically accept them and change your housing status, how much you want on your subsidized or non subsidized loans, work studies, and all that jazz.

ohhh, cool.

i don't see any changes... what's going on?

I lost my Cal Grant but UCLA comped it with the Scholarship Recognition Award.

What's a Scholarship Recognition Award? Is it really "Scholarship Recognition" or is that just a fancy name for something everybody gets anyway?

Not that I'm complaining or being picky, mind. I love UCLA.

It is just a fancy name for their standard scholarship package. What surprised me is the amount they offered me is per quarter, not per year. It makes it a pretty nice package. Now, does anybody know how to use the site?

I lost my Cal Grant A too, but it was on my provisional award letter, just not my eFAN. Does anyone know what's going on?

I went to the cal grant website to check the status:

https://mygrantinfo.csac.ca.gov/logon.asp

Apparently, on my part, I received cal grant B for community college from 2007-2008. But then when I checked just now, they renewed the cal grant B for community college for 2008-2009. This doesn't make any sense. Does this mean I don't get a cal grant because somehow, I was screwed over because they thought I was continuing community college from 2008-2009?

This sucks, I'm going to try to contact them tomorrow.

i don't know why they keep on assuming i'm a commuter when i put "living on campus" in my fafsa. :/

i'm planning on just changing my housing first then choosing undecided for their initial offers. my cost of attendance will definitely increase once i switch to on campus but does anybody know where the majority of the adjustment add-ons will be? grants & scholarships or loans & workstudy??

Does anyone know what stafford lender to choose from? I'm confused? whats the one with a better benefit?

Bumping this thread up. Anyone find out the deadline for the eFAN yet? I emailed the fin aid office but haven't gotten a response.

yeah email fin aid office too, took more than 1-2 business days.... to respond. and still havnt heard word.
