I got an email saying the same thing as the likely letter.

Got the likely letter!

Got one around 7pm pst for materials engineering!

@robdog91 also got mine for materials engineering

I got Open House Invitation from “Richard Wesel - Professer of EE” by mail today. Does it mean something?

didnt get one for bme . in state, 4.38 uc, 2120 sat,790 biom/math2, 34 act, 10 AP’s… if i dont get la then i def wont get berkeley (materials engineering)

No, materials seems to be way less impacted. Don’t resign yourself!

any aerospace get the email?

i havent gotten it yet… (not that im qualified)

32 act
750 math2

I got one for CS, I am an International Student:
ACT 34
SAT2: Math2 800 and Physics 800
SAT 2190

I am an international student and I applied for MechE
SAT 2230
SAT2: Math2 800 Phys 780 Chem 800
However, my email did not specify anything about MechE, and it was signed by a professor of EE. Can anybody tell me what does that mean?

Are Likely letters only send for Engineering ones?

@uclahopeful18 Yeah I just checked my email. I applied for Chemical ENgineering!

Based on past threads, i think this is the engineering likely…
Any idea how many people get this mail?

@flvd1996
If you look again, he’s also the Associate Dean of Academic and Student Affairs, so that makes sense.
@aks2014
I’ve heard something around 40% of their admitted engineers, but it depends on major.

My son got his for Civil Engineering around 6 pm last night!

I got one for EE last night! Does anyone know anyone who applied to engineering at UCLA and did not receive the email?

@parkreation Only 40 percent of admits? Such a relief. Thanks!

@person415 I haven’t gotten one. :/

I got one early this morning. I am an International Student (India) , applied to EE. I am a bit skeptical too, cz my stats are a little low as compared to the median (2190 SAT). Also, i know its silly but the text is a lil different from the previous year’s LL. I got it from Richard Wesel too and he commends my high school work and stuff. Can anyone confirm that whoever gets these letters are guranteed admission??

@flvd1996 I was wondering the same thing I got mine from the electrical engineering dean but I applied chemE

Has anyone from Nocal has gotten one yet?
My son applied for computer sceince
