Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected (strengths/weaknesses):
I’m a re-entry student with strong extra curriculars and a long history of holding leadership positions. Also, my GPA was very strong for my degree, which is non impacted at UCLA (or anywhere else for that matter)

Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected (strengths/weaknesses): Honestly, I still cannot believe with my GPA that I got accepted to UCLA. I believe it was my EC’s, and being part of the CCCP program and my TAP. I did have a pretty good application, but I felt my GPA probably would’ve gotten me denied.

Major: Business Economics
TAP; N
IGETC: Done this Spring

EC’s/Awards: I guess veteran status goes here? On my application I described the medals and awards I got in the Army.
State: CA
EFC Income Bracket: Just my income and I look super poor because they don’t count the GI Bill as income.

Why do I think I was rejected?
I’m taking an applied calc class that UCLA doesn’t accept per the articulation agreement with my current community college. Also, I applied to the major with the most applicants and the lowest acceptance rate. I knew it was swinging for the fences, but the application fee was waived so it was worth the shot.

-------OKAY GUYS HELP NEEDED--------

So I was admitted as a Geography major. I am a part of the TAP program and I am taking my 5th and final honors course right now. In the TAP requirements it states that you have to “complete 15 units of honors courses with a GPA of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than a B, preferably”.

So my dilemma, it’s going to come down to my last assignment for my honors class to determine wether I get a C or a B, with a C my honors coursework GPA would go to a 3.4. Does anyone know how stingy UCLA is on this? Will they pull my admission offer?

Through CC I have had a very high overall GPA, 3.9, and my ECs are really strong as well.

Any help/insight you guys can give would be awesome. Thanks
