Well based on previous years UCLA usually released decisions a few days before Berkeley. So I’m going to guess they’ll be out before the 18th? But who knows…
UCLA has consistently released decisions a few days before Berkeley

thank you!
For UCLA business economics students right now (or used to be), I am wondering if it is possible to be admitted if you are currently in a business administration track who have completed intro economics, calculus, english, and accounting classes.
UCLA does not have business administration for undergraduate so I am worried but I still applied to Business Economics since UCLA was my dream school back in high school.
I lean towards to UCB HAAS more now since I directly applied to their business school. I study at a top 50, 4-year university in California.
@sagaciousforever Similar to the post I made in the UC Berkeley Haas thread. For the Business Economics major at UCLA, you must complete all Pre-requisites to be eligible for the program (with the exception of ECON 11 and ECON 41, which are completed after admitted to UCLA). So if you cannot complete all Pre-requisites for UCLA Business Econ except these two courses I stated above, your application will be denied
Hey guys! So technically my question is about transferring to UCLA for fall of 2020, but I figured I’d post it here because there isn’t a 2020 thread open yet. I currently go to a CCC, but I’m going to go home this summer. However, I’d still like to take some classes, so I was going to take 2 that are transferrable to UC’s at my well-respected local community college while I’m home. Would this affect my chances at all? I’m worried that because they prioritize California community colleges, if they see I took a few classes not in California, they might be less willing to accept me. I don’t know, maybe I’m just being dumb. What do you guys think?
It’s fine to take them there. Just be sure they’re transferable. Not all are. You could also do online from one in the CCCs here:
@gillianes123 yeah you can take so many classes online now!! and if you can’t find online classes for your major or ones you like OR if they’re already all full, just enroll in a different community college in California (which can all be done online) and then take online classes that that school has to offer. I only physically attended one school but technically had classes from 3 different schools while I attended those in person classes
@gillianes123 Well your primary college is defined as the college where you have completed the most units so as long as when the time comes for you to fill out your information for UC applications, make sure that a California community college is the college where the most units have been completed. In other words, don’t sweat it, you’re perfectly ok!
I’m super nervous but I’m sending good thoughts out for everybody!!

I just got an immediate response request email and I have no idea why. It said:
We are in the process of reviewing your application. Before we can complete our review and reach an
admission decision, we need the following information from you:
In which country did you complete 9th grade and what was the primary language of instruction?
I’m not an international student so I’m super confused?? Why are they asking me this???
@halpmehxd that’s odd. Well let them know, haha
will do. lol
@halpmehxd my daughter got that same one last month. No idea why. She was born and raised in California and attended high school
here. Weird.
when do you guys think UCLA will release the decisions for transfer ?
@leomessi10yan http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/counselors/files/campus-notification-deadlines-2019.pdf
Late April.
Its just that Berkley says on or before April 19 and as far as i know UCLA is always before Berkley? would that mean we might get it on like 18th ?
@leomessi10yan Yeah that’s what I was thinking too. UCLA is known to release their decisions before Berkeley and that has happened consecutively for a couple of years now. So we may end up receiving our decisions before April 19 after all.
Hi guys! Best of luck to you all. Here are my stats:
Transferring from: Santa Monica College/Orange Coast College
Major: Gender Studies
Pre Reqs: Complete
GPA: 3.62
IGETC: Complete
TAG: UCSB

I applied to some of the above mentioned schools for Film Production, so there’s a longer wait time on those
I am a Gender Studies major too! I hope we both get in
