UCLA General doubts

Hi there!
My name is Mel, I'm from Spain and I've been accepted at the UCLA starting at september.
I'm on the Education Abroad Program with an exchange between my university of Madrid and the UC.
I have so many doubts so I decide to ask here, I just have seen that there is so many amazing people that helps!
About the housing options, I was going to choose the halls but I would like to have more space and privacy. Still... I don't want to be alone a not have social life in the plazas!
I am a junior student and I would like to meet new people and have a great experience at the UC but I also worry about my studies, because studying at USA is very expensive for me.
I'm a mess right now, if you guys could help me I would be very grateful!

I don’t get what your doubt is. If you mean you’re worried about your social life and keeping up academically, don’t worry. That’s like everyone here.

Still I don’t understand what you need help on

Hala madrid! Yea what exactly is your question?

(before I get all this hate speech) all I said is that UCLA has substantial Spanish speaking population. for off-campus housing option try the Facebook ‘UCLA Transfers’ page where people are currently searching for Summer and Winter housing. and yes UCLA housing is ridiciously expensive

If your’e concerned about housing, from what I learned during the housing tour on Bruin Day, the Deluxe Residential Halls sound right for you. The rooms are bigger than both the classic Residential Halls and the Plazas. They are also more social than the plazas because they have community bathrooms on each floor.

Thank you so much for all the answers! That was really helpfull  I’m sorry for my english level, I will study more before I arrive at UCLA  I finally decided to apply for the residential plazas because halls are too noisy for me, but halls are my second option and now it all depends on UCLA housing department. Again, thank you so much!!
