UCLA let's 2nd choice of major for admission?

When applying to UCLA, does UCLA let you put in 2nd choice of major?

I'm asking this because My first choice major is Business Econ, but I'm not really sure if I would make it, so I'd really like to put Economics/International Studies as my "back-up" major, since it's slightly easier to get in.
I was wondering if UCLA allows students to put their "2nd choice, alternative, back-up, whatever you call it" major in the application.

And if they do, do they consider you for the back-up major if you get declined for your first-choice major? Or is it just "you dont make your first-choice major, you dont make to UCLA at all" deal?

And 2nd question... does UCLA allow double-major?
I'd really like to double-major in Bus. Econ and International studies while minoring in Accounting.

they will look at it only if u're in TAP.

It's competetive to get into accounting minor.

I am in TAP.

You should be in. Stop worrying :)

what's TAP?

I'm also curious bc I'm planning on applying under Communications, another impacted major..

second major only for TAP?
that's just great.. I'm not in tap and I'm gambling haas and bizecon..

Consideration for a second major does not apply to Berkeley.

TAP = Transfer Alliance Program

Whoever's in TAP program gets priority admission to whatever school they are applying to.

im an anthro major but im not tap

"TAP = Transfer Alliance Program

Whoever's in TAP program gets priority admission to whatever school they are applying to."

Not really, only schools with that have TAP agreements with the CC.

Actually according to UCLA that is not quite true for them. The counselor I spoke with said that TAP is mainly helpful to borderline students who otherwise would not be considered. She said since I have a high gpa I shouldn't bother. I couldn't do it anyway since I work all day so it doesn't really matter to me.
