UCLA Parking Decisions

Eeeek.

Yeah. I think it'll probably take you 15-20 minutes to maneuver your way to Ackerman from Wilshire through Westwood, and North campus from Ackerman is another 10-15 minutes.

Please excuse my super quick ghetto paint style picture, but this is how far it is, just so you can plan: http://i4.tinypic.com/23mr7v7.jpg

Good luck! I'm sure it'll be fine.

*As a comparison, it takes me 10 minutes to get to royce from lot 7, and 15 minutes to get to pub policy (allll the way on the northeast perimeter of campus) from lot 7.

/ETA- maybe you can just park and take one of the shuttles to north campus? It might be easier just to cross the street to south of wilshire. There are a couple shuttle stops within a 5-10 minute walk from where you'll be parking. Kinda sucks to have to park and ride, but the shuttles are usually fast. Just an alternative to consider.

I got my place today, i am renting a pool house in tarzana, 12 miles from campus......... seems close but apparently it isnt.

anyways, the place is very nice and the price was very right.

How long does it take to get form math scineces building to bounche hall?

Probably 10 minutes, give or take. I'm really never south of Powell so I'm not exactly sure, but yeah.

and yeah. 12 miles anywhere else is a short commute. 12 miles in LA could be an hour on a bad day. Takes me 20 minutes to go 3 1/2 miles on my way to work some mornings. Blah. Hopefully you won't have too many traffic issues.

i received parking also...same parking lot too (36).

I didn't think that i'd get it because i'm not living that far from campus (i'm living in the Glenrock West Apartments), nor do i have a job or anything like that. I sure glad that i did though because i didn't get parking for my apartment building and now i have a place to put my car rather than trying find parking on the street.

This whole thing seems pretty random...

I received an email saying that i was approved for parking, but it didnt say which lot. Where do i go to see which lot i was accepted for?

URSA > BruinBill Accounts > View Balance > Parking Permit View Details (the Lot will be listed in the details)
