Hello!

So I'm a sophomore at a City College, and this question in particular has had me wondering about admission to UCLA for a long time. (I've already turned in my UC applications) Long story short, I didn't think I had any chance of getting into a prestigious school like UCLA going into CC, but after getting relatively great grades these past few semesters, UCLA doesn't seem like such a long shot anymore. The only problem is this: I didn't realize that I was actually going to be aiming for UCLA until halfway through this semester (Fall 2013). Consequently, I have been able to take all the classes Assist.org is asking of me except for 1.

I am a Psychology major, and the class that I am missing from Assist.org is Chemistry 101. I tried looking on many websites to see just how much of an impact this absence of Chem is going to have on my admission decision, or even if I could still be admitted (I'm not sure if Chem is a class I have to absolutely take in order to get admitted or not, so ya). Right now, I have a 3.73 GPA and I know that that's still relatively low compared to many other exceptional applicants, but I'm an optimistic person and I hope that I still have a good chance without Chem and with my 3.73.

Anyone who has any answers/advice/suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it! I'd really appreciate an answer about Chem, it's been bothering me for a long time and I would like to know if I still have a chance of getting in without it. And in regards to my GPA, I would also really appreciate it if anyone could give me their opinion of my chances of getting in.
Thanks for sticking around! You guys are awesome!
