UCLA Session# 201 6-30 HERE!

Did anyone else on CC get the first session? I woke up at 9 on the dot for this session. The survey took a little while too. Fortunately, I was still able to reserve the first session. I'll be seeing you guys there soon.

Is anyone else here from SF-Bay Area? Where do you guys plan on staying for the orientation?

I’m coming for the June 30th orientation and I’m coming from the Bay Area too! I just said on the survey that I would come a day early and pay the extra $50, and I assume that means I’m staying in the dorms. How are you getting down there though? I don’t really want to spend a lot on a ticket, especially when orientation already is going to cost $150+. But it’s such a long drive/bus drive/etc. Blahhh.

ah crap I didn’t sign up for that. Is it still possible to sign up for that $50 dollars. I might be staying at friend’s house but I’m not sure yet.

I think you can call them, what happen was that I forgot to check the fee waiver box, so i called them to asked them to change it. It was a long wait, but they made the change for me, so i think the same thing can apply to you calling to sign up for the 50$ dollar early arrival

I am from San Jose, CA.
I signed up for the early arrival and paid extra $50.

I can’t find any information on where and when they will meet me there and where should I go? What does the early arrival mean? I assumed I would be spending the night on the campus. Am I wrong?

^ yeah coming early means that youre are sleeping at the campus, not sure where the info is though…

socal1017, thank you, I tried to call the orientation office today, but all lines were busy…I will try again tomorrow.

Don’t worry Russiangirl that can be easily fixed. The orientation office called me today to check up on me? Did anyone else get a phone call?

Uh oh. That means you are one of the “chosen ones”. You better check underneath your hood every time you start your car…
