I'm currently in the military and stationed overseas. When I get out I would like to go to a community college and do the TAP program for UCLA. Would taking online classes now mess anything up later if I do them through the school I want to do TAP through. Is there time restrictions on completeing the TAP classes. I can't find information on the way the program works overall. Thank you.

i dont think online classes will mess you up, if anything they’ll start you on your 60 units necessary to transfer.
as far as tap goes, it varies w/each community college. for exp, the school im in requires 8 honors classes (at least 4 formal honors classes and 4 contract classes- as in taking a regular class and then signing a contract with the teacher saying you’ll do extra work to get honors credit).
in order to be tap certified you will need to complete the honors requirements for your school the spring before you transfer. look into what the program requires for your school though. good luck! :)
