Which is better:

1) TAP Certified w/ pre-reqs missing

2) Non-TAP certified with fewer pre-reqs missing

Major is CogSci (non-impacted) if that helps.

Depends on your GPA and whether you’ll have prepreqs for your alternate major done.

I think it depends on what your intention is: is it just to get into UCLA or is it to get into UCLA but ONLY as a Cognitive Science major?

If it’s the the former then choice one because you’ll be evaluated for your alternate major if there’s a realistic chance you won’t get in as a Cog Sci major. If it’s the latter then I have to imagine completing your pre-reqs is going to make it more likely for you to be admitted as a Cog Sci major.
