UCLA Transfer Housing??? Help!

Hi!!

I am an incoming transfer student and I was hoping a current transfer or upperclassmen could shed a little more insight on housing at UCLA!

I'm trying to decide between living in a Suite or a Plaza. I'd definitely like to be social and meet people but I don't have a terrible interest in rooming with freshmen or people who want to rage all the time....do many frosh end up living in plaza buildings???

Is there a place most transfers tend to get assigned if they put in a request for on campus housing?

Thanks so much!!

here ya go

https://www.orl.ucla.edu/theme/transfer

I’ve heard this is a plaza though so it might be more expensive

Im a transfer student also to ucla doing housing

Does anyone know when we will receive our housing offer??
The UCLA website says “early June”.
And I thought I read somewhere that it would be June 3, but I don’t remember where.
Can anyone confirm?

It will be next week for sure. It might be June 3rd…but I’m thinking June 5th more realistically. If you read June 3rd somewhere though, it might just be that.

Very soon considering that you have to either accept or decline the offer by June 11

^Agreed. June 11th is next Tuesday, I would think they should be giving us about a week to decide.

Anyone possibly in film? I’m wondering if I’m planning to stay off campus whereabouts are good apts or what area a lot of film students stay in?
