Hey guys! Someone told me that the acceptance rate to the UCLA SoN is 5%. I know nursing schools are challenging to get in to, but is this really accurate??? It seems awfully low. Thanks!

The rate is actually at 2.3% for Fall 2015. The most selective school at UCLA is the SoN.
UCI’s SON was as follows:
Fall 2016 Freshman Applicants: 2,264
Fall 2016 Freshman Admits: 82 (3.5% admitted)
Average UC GPA: 4.25 GPA
Average Total SAT Scores: 1962
SDSU/CSU Fullerton are also under 5% for direct admit acceptance rates.
How do I get into UCLA SoN? GPA, Test Scores, etc.
Even with the stats and some good fortune, your chances aren’t good. With a 3.5% admit rate, they reject lots of well qualified applicants. Apply away - but, even if you have perfect SAT and GPA, have a viable back up plan
